RehabWorks was one of the country’s first providers of the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) condition management programme (CMP). We worked with incapacity benefit claimants and our established award winning service achieved unmatched success in terms of work outcomes. Our outcomes and results in this harder to reach group added real economic value to our clients.
We now deliver the Work Health Programme (WHP) which supplements the DWP’s Work Programme Initiative, (superseded the CMP) through several programme providers. The WHP focuses on understanding and improving the management of a customers health and obstacles to returning to work.
Working with customers on employment seekers allowance or job seekers allowance, the programme has been designed in collaboration with our cognitive behaviour therapists (CBT) in response to the complexities of working with what the DWP define as a ‘Worklessness’ population.
The programme is delivered by our rehabilitation therapists and psychotherapists at centres around the UK. Group sessions encompassing physiotherapy, CBT and activities designed to prepare customers for future employment, the programme allows customers from varying backgrounds to interact and rediscover the necessary skills to enter the job market.
