RehabWorks is on tenterhooks this week, anxiously awaiting news regarding an award nomination for its CEO, Andy Holdcroft.
Andy, who joined the business in August 2011, has been shortlisted to a final three business leaders in the category of Director of the Year for the 2014 East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards.
Every year, the awards recognise the very best businesses and managers within East Anglia.
Following a submission by RehabWorks, and a subsequent interview with the judges at the company’s Bury St Edmunds headquarters, Andy discovered he had made it into the top tier of finalists.
He will find out on Thursday night at a glittering award ceremony in Ipswich whether he has triumphed over the other contenders.
Andy said: “Naturally I’m delighted just to have reached the shortlist and to be considered worthy of the judging stage, but to now find myself in the top three is really flattering.
“Regardless of whether I win or not, I really see this award process, and my shortlisting, as a credit to all the staff within the business who make it possible for me to do the job I do.
“I’m always aware that no manager gets to where he or she does without support from staff, from returning clients, and from friends and family.”
The award process is one of several in which RehabWorks will be involved this year, with applications currently being entered for trade awards which culminate at the end of 2014.
