REHABWORKS CONFIRMS COMMITMENT TO BITC
LEADING healthcare business, RehabWorks, is pleased to announce its membership of the corporate responsibility organisation, Business in the Community (BITC).
BITC is a well-respected business-led organisation, focusing on pertinent issues around sustainability and good practice. It has more than 800 organisations within its framework and operates with a national and international reach.
RehabWorks sees great synergy with the focus of the BITC core objectives, and is looking forward to aligning its own corporate and social responsibility work more closely with that of the organisation.
Derrick Farrell, CEO at RehabWorks, is an advocate of CSR and said:
“The economic, social and environmental issues that are challenging today’s business models mean we have to find new and imaginative ways to respond and change the way we operate. The BITC brand is well-known inside and outside of the business world and helps us to start to demonstrate our commitment to responsible business practice.
This means ensuring we manage our business and growth responsibly, not just reducing dependency on natural resources, but also how we operate as an employer, supplier, customer and neighbour.
We are now steering a clear path for growth aligned to a consistent message around social responsibility.
We are committed to responsible business practice and membership of BITC will help us on that journey.”
