RehabWorks Award Wins

RehabWorks is celebrating after success at the national Rehabilitation First Awards 2013.

RehabWorks’ Tim Elliott was Highly Commended in the category of Unsung Rehab Champion of the Year.

In addition to this, RehabWorks is happy to have supported National Grid’s Wellbeing Services to win Rehabilitation Initiative of the Year: Employer.

“RehabWorks is proud to see the hard work and clinical excellence our staff deliver every day recognised within the industry again,” said Andy Holdcroft, CEO.

“It’s also great to see National Grid win after supporting their wellbeing strategy over the last five years.”

Tim was Highly Commended for his innovative mini functional restoration programme he set up for a police force.

After working closely with the police force since 2008 Tim was able to investigate outcome data, staff and patient feedback and based on this evidence and devised the new clinical programme, which had the added advantage of improving efficiency and cost effectiveness.

RehabWorks has been providing physiotherapy services to National Grid for five years and the results of the support and intervention offered by us was included in their winning submission in the category of Rehabilitation Initiative of the Year: Employer.

Sinead Furber, Health Specialist at National Grid, said: “We are delighted to receive this award alongside such stiff competition. National Grid is committed to supporting employee rehabilitation and looks for innovative and cost effective ways to ensure that the performance of individuals and the business are at the forefront of all we do.

“Partnering with RehabWorks has been integral to our achievements and we will continue to work closely together to build on this success.”
