Top Prize for RehabWorks CEO

Posted on by rehabworks

The boss of a leading occupational health and rehabilitation company has been named Director of the Year in a regional business awards ceremony.

Andy Holdcroft, CEO of leading occupational health and rehabilitation company RehabWorks, was announced winner of the title in the East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards 2014. The Director of the Year category was sponsored and awarded by Barclays after a rigorous submission assessment and interview process.

Having joined the company in 2011 after roles for large corporates the likes of KPMG and TXU and, innovative start up organisations like Your Energy Ltd and the London Waste and Recycling Board, Andy has made a number of strategic improvements to the organisation and has helped his team secure major contracts for the likes of, Anglian Water, British Telecom and Benenden Healthcare Society with others to be announced imminently.

He is hailed as having formed a dynamic younger management board, and with leading this team to good effect, both internally and externally.

Every year, the East Anglian Daily Times Business awards recognise the very best companies and managers within the county of Suffolk.

Following a submission by RehabWorks, and a subsequent interview with the judges at the company’s Bury St Edmunds headquarters, Andy discovered in June that he had made it into the top tier of finalists.

His win was announced at a glittering ceremony in Ipswich on Thursday night.

Andy, who is also a father of two and a keen sportsman, said: “Making the shortlist felt like a huge accomplishment in its own right, as there are some very impressive leaders at the helm of businesses here in the East of England.

“To win the title was a huge surprise, but also, enormously satisfying because in a role like CEO you don’t often find yourself taking stock of how far you’ve come, or being praised by peers.

“I’m enormously proud of the significant strides RehabWorks has made since I joined in 2011 and I’m really honoured to be heading the business at a time of such growth and progression.”

He added: “While I’ve been the one to receive the award, I’m very conscious that no manager gets where he or she does without support from staff, from returning clients, and from friends and family.

“I’m grateful to all my colleagues at RehabWorks and see this as much their award as mine.”
